Winter Quarter United Nations Seminar

Who: All UCSD Students
What: POLI 192: Political Science Seminar
When: Winter Quarter: Mondays from 2:00pm to 2:50pm

Why: Learn about the United Nations and develop skills through Model UN simulations

Seminar will meet January 7, 14, 28; February 4, 11, 25; March 3, 10.

Students will examine the contemporary work of the United Nations. Meetings will help students develop skills of written and verbal communication through simulations. This course will be of particular interest to students intending to participate in the UCSD delegations to Model United Nations conferences during the 2007-2008 academic year.

Prerequisites: Upper division standing; department stamp and/or consent of instructor
